Hi! I'm Astrid. I was diagnosed with coeliac disease over ten years' ago, meaning that I have to follow a strict gluten-free diet. All of the recipes you'll find on Halo Eats are, of course, gluten free but also vegan, dairy-free and refined-sugar free. That's not to say they're free from taste though! I've packed delicious flavours into each and every recipe and try to use seasonal produce where possible. What's more, the recipes are all full of wonderful plant-based goodness too. I really hope that you'll enjoy making them.

  2. Hi Astrid, when you state coconut oil do you melt it first or leave it solid? I was looking at the Choco nut smoothie. Thanks, Kirsty

    1. For some recipes it makes a difference but for this one, this doesn't matter if it's liquid or solid. Enjoy! :)
